FACECLAIMㅤ this account DOES NOT RECOGNIZE EVA GREEN as vesper lynd. i may sporadically use faceless images of eva in the role, but i prefer her likeness not be used when referencing my portrayal. she is, in my eyes, a vile being by supporting vile beings: this is not a safe place for you if you believe in “separating art from artists” like roman polanski and johnny depp. eva has been very open about this, if not wholly supporting these men and others.

CLASSIFIED:    ENTRY    ???    UPDATED    02.2007       QUANTUM wielded Vesper Lynd as a double agent, first allegedly holding longterm partner Yusef Kabira hostage in exchange for the Royale winnings. Upon her refusal and through prompted negotiation, Lynd would instead exchange the sum for 007 James Bond in Yusef’s place ... but in November 2006, Lynd’s death was reported and Yusef was assumed missing or, alike Lynd, dead.

[    2007    ]     MI6 licenses a new 00, later established as 006. the newly licensed agent is kept near to M and often treated as a designated recluse ⸻ a solitaire sniper.

orphaned at hardly two, lynd would find herself fostered twice over before a finalized adoption; but while favored, vesper detested either parent. she survived childhood and adolescence with a bridled tongue when ’round her mother and with a sharpened wit ’round her father ⸻ with whom she held a mutual respect if anything at all. the darling’s served as her parents through college; and after several private tutors and schooling, lynd landed an occupation with the treasury as an accountant with the help and consideration of j. ellis darling, adoptive patriarch.

hardly a romantic, vesper lacked interest in pursuing much until one yusef kabira wooed her; unknowing, of course, his history as a conman. the pair fell swiftly in love and kabir became a frequent guest within the darling household, doted on even by its matriarch, but even complicated domesticity and its old money couldn’t sway him.

their bittersweet love wholly soured come 2006 when kabira vanished ⸻ ’til lynd fell further victim to his charms. it was decided. vesper lynd, a repected accountant, would commit treason in

attempt to recover yusef… and in doing so, she might portray the lover stephanie broadchest to a licensed killer; and she, in turn, would con this man.

love is a terrible thing and fickle, too; “this man,” james bond, better caged her heart. this much QUANTUM knew, opting to promise his safety in exchange for the royale winnings.    she must have known she was going to her death.    she loved him terribly, but she knew what might come of her.
